The ‘Youth Entrepreneurship for a More Inclusive Global Economy’ will be taught in select New York City Public Schools.
NEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES, November 11, 2025 /– Youthful Savings (YS) partners with NYC Public Schools as part of Project PIVOT this fall. This program works with Community Based Organizations (CBOs) to engage youth “during a pivotal point in their development to guide and nurture them to their full potential” as described on the official Project PIVOT site. CBOs like YS are selected based on their alignment with the five pillars of PIVOT: Purpose, Integrity, Voice, Optimism, and Tenacity. YS’ learning exercises provided on The Learning Marketplace (TLM) offer learning materials that encompass these five pillars.
As part of Project PIVOT, YS will bring its popular learning program ‘Youth Entrepreneurship for a More Inclusive Global Economy’ to Junior High School 185 Edward Bleeker. This program will feature a customized, self-paced learning curriculum on YS’ proprietary learning platform, TLM. With this program, youth will receive TLM subscriptions, providing access to unlimited learning, both self-paced and live instruction. Learning exercises will cover topics including mental well-being, team building, communication, technology, and personal finance. This approach will educate youth, guiding them to develop further and achieve their goals.
The program also includes the highly acclaimed ‘My Own Business Challenge’, taught by YS-trained instructors, which encourages youth to start their own local businesses. From this program, graduates will gain the necessary skills, helping them develop into capable and confident individuals, ready to thrive in a dynamic global economy. Successful graduates who start their own businesses will also have the opportunity to sell on the global e-commerce platform, Youthful Savings Marketplace (YSM). Additionally, as a means to increase youth engagement and attendance, all youth graduates will receive $100 on prepaid cards through the Youthful Savings Foundation’s Community Investment Fund.
